I have same problem in my E70 for almost 1 yr now and Aux FAN keeps running very loud even when its freezing outside when AC is ON, it shuts off when AC is OFF. Started off with plug and coil, and ordered one Bosch FR-7-KPP-332, NGK IZFR6H1 (4294) for $10, and a Bosch Coil 12-13-8-647-689-M14 for $29.50 and swapped Cylinder 5. BMW has told us they believe those rims cracked because the tyres were underinflated. Large alloy wheels with low-profile tyres are also more prone to being damaged by hitting kerbs.
